Routine appointments - Routine appointments are available every day in both mornings and afternoons. You may request a face to face or telephone appointment.

Urgent appointments - If you need an urgent appointment for a medical emergency please contact the surgery and inform the receptionist. It is very helpful if you are able to tell the receptionist some details of the medical emergency so that the GP can prioritise those in most need first. Usually the GP will call you back as soon as possible that day in the first instance, and arrange appropriate review, care or treatment

Annual screening appointments for patients with chronic conditions are routinely offered.

Face to face consultations

Face to face routine appointments are available for patients to pre-book

Telephone Consultations

Telephone appointments are available or those who do not require a face to face appointment or where a telephone consultation may be move convenient.

Home Visits

If you are too ill to attend the surgery, you may request a home visit. Home visits are often time consuming and it is more difficult to examine and do tests at home, so they are reserved for those who truly cannot get into the surgery.

Calls to the surgery should be made before 10am if possible to allow the Doctors to plan their visiting.

The receptionist will ask for some indication of the problem so the Doctor can assess the urgency of the call. The Doctor may also telephone you to seek more information and to see how best to help you to see how best to help you.
