Surgery Times

The Surgery is open from 08.00 – 18.00hrs Monday to Friday excluding Public Holidays

Appointment times are between 9am and 1pm and 2pm till 6pm, Monday to Friday.

Making Appointments

During the COVID pandemic all initial contact will be conducted by telephone

We run a 10 minute appointment system for the Doctors and Nurses. Routine and Emergency appointments are available every day in both mornings and afternoons. If you need an urgent appointment for a medical emergency please inform the receptionist and we will endevour to see you as soon as possible that day.

Annual screening appointments for patients with chronic conditions are routinely offered.

 

Telephone Consultations

It is not always necessary to see the doctor face to face. You may be offered a telephone consultation which may be more convenient for you.

Home Visits

Only request a home visit if you are too ill to attend the Surgery. Calls should be made before 10am if possible to allow the Doctors to plan their visiting.

The receptionist will ask for some indication of the problem so the doctor can assess the urgency of the call. The doctor may phone if telephone advice is deemed more appropriate than a visit.

 

In keeping with Government policy we offer access to a doctor or nurse within 48hrs.

 

Leaflets and other information about various illnesses and conditions are available on display and from the Practice nurses.
